What do you guys think about doing uni-lateral dumbell flyes? I've only started working out for 3 weeks and the last 3 chest workouts when doing flyes I find that instead of feeling the stretch in the chest area i feel it just where the shoulder and chest meet. Would concentrating on one side at a time take anything away from the exercise?
Thanks

For a guy that's been working out for 3 weeks, I think a fly is a waste of time much less a uni-lateral one.

any ideas on what I could add instead?
Chest/Tri's day looks like this for me
4 sets Bench press
4 sets Flyes
3 sets Pullover
4 sets Close grip bench press
3 sets Skullcrushers

for chest, drop the flys and split the BP into incline/decline/level and then add chest dips
