Around noon today the right side of my face went numb. When I smile or talk, the right side of my mouth does not move. I felt a twing of pain near my right ear and a little near my gum line earlier, but now the pain is gone and my face is just numb. Anyone know what this could be? My wisdom teeth never grew in on the right side, so could it possibly be from them growing in now? Please help.

This is not the most informative reply but...
Go to the doctor now. Why take a chance?

that could be caused by a range of things from minor to severe. Call up your doctor NOW, and see him/her ASAP. Its not normal, and whatever it is, you'll want to have it diagnosed and treated.

You should see a doctor. One of our deliverymen at work had this happen and he was diagnosed with Bell's Palsey. It lasted about three weeks he said.

Dr said I have a small ear infection, and that the 8th nerve connecting to my ear has crossed the 7th and that could be causing the Bell's Palsy. How do you think you injured your 7th cranial nerve?
Was it lifting weights?
Just curious.
