You guys are going to be cursed by the junk snail mail and spam gods for the rest of your time on this planet and probably still not get anything for your effort.

How much effort does this really involve? I can find probably 2-3 people tops, beyond that I'd have to start bugging people I don't want to bug over it.

if enough people do it here by filling up the first link and then the second,third and so on you wont have to bother anyone. by completing an offer yourself and getting four more people to do the same with your referal you get the toy. by completing a second offer yourself you get the game. worth a shot imo.

I'll be signing up this afternoon. How does the "conga line" work? Do I use the first person's link until he gets 5 or do I use the 2nd person's? It seems if we all just do the next person, everyone will just have 1 referral and get nowhere? :confused:

I gotta tell ya, at least for the free ipod, the effort was minimal and the ipod did show up at my house. I used a forwarded address I knew I could "turn off" after everything was said and done, so I'm spam free and in possesion of my nintendo ds. very cool.

I think using the first person's link at the top is your best bet. I'm at the top right now needing two more referals. once I get those two, I'll cross out my link and the 2nd link will become the top link (second linke currently is badgolfer828's)

If anyone can think of a more efficient way to do this, I'm all ears. Honest. Ok, not literally "all ears", but you get the idea. :)

that sounds like the best way to me. we just have to stay organized so everyone gets the referalls they need from top to bottom. well have to figure out a way for the last four in line to get the referalls though.

that's where it gets a little tricky. I know with the free ipods deal, if you signed up two accounts using the same IP address, one was invalidated. since you haven't completed an offer, it might actually work out for you to sign up under another link. I don't know for sure though.

JMR the credit card is for the offers you sign up for. you do not give your credit card to the site. i game mine to Blockbuster. i get two free weeks of their online movie rental service. after that its about twenty dollars a month. but that doesnt matter because before my two weeks is up i will cancel my account. its easily done on bockbusters website. i get a few free movie rentals and a new toy for free if im lucky without spending a dollar.

i dont think it can be transfered. if your not on a network you could change your IP adress. i dont know if its really that simple though.

I'm always a bit worried too, as most of the "freebie" sites don't give a lot of slack for mess-ups. I personally wouldn't try to do anything.

i got confirmation on the offer i signed up for today so jtelling that should be a good one for you. we need more people to sign up. this really is not some bull. you really do get the item. the sponsors pay a lot of money for the advertising and getting people to sign up. it really will cost you nothing if you call to cancel in time.

I did the printer ink one. Sure I had to buy $30 worth of ink for that one, but I got 2 blacks, and one each of cmy. Not bad since I will have to buy them anyways. Always need ink for a the printer!

You told me you signed up for the BMG offer right? I know a friend of mine did the BMG offer for the freeipods.com and it took a little more than 2 weeks for it to show as green on her account.

I have 5 referals listed on my ds4free.com account with 2 of them being green right now. Once yours goes green, that'll give me 3. Hopefully one more of my yellows goes green - that would be nice.
