View Full Version : Need help with my diet plan.....

Hey, I have been fighting weight most of my life and in winter of 2000 I was an about 300 pounds. I was huge since I'm only 5'7. I had gotten it down to 213 by June but then I was really slacking off. I got a new girlfriend and my exercise and diet plans got all screwy. About Halloween I new I had to fix things again. I was still working about everyday just wasn't right.

So now almost end of Nov. and I have lost a few pounds but I was wondering if you could over look my diet plan and exercise plan to help out.

Wakeup 1pm
Elliptical 15-20mins

3pm
Protein shake/skim milk

5pm
Salad at work/on road
Usually 48oz of water during work.

10pm
Dinner
Usually chicken and vegetables
16oz water

12pm
Run 2miles
16oz water

2am
Usually small snack before bed. Example... peanuts / or cheese/or some chicken.

That is none lifting days. Lifting days it's basically the same just in between 2mile run is lifting session.

Just some ideas. I noticed I'm not drinking enough water... but any help would be great. I'm pissed I was so close to goal.

OUCH!!!!!

You are going to catabolize yourself into nothing eating like that.

You are also going to run all the muscle you do have right off your body, especially w/a diet like that.

Agreed. And I can't imagine how you have energy or feel healthy eating so little. You need to triple your food intake man. I eat as much in one meal as you do in a day and I'm 165 pounds.

So far today I had..

protein shake with skim

1can of Tuna with some letuce
1/2 cup of trail mix

Grilled Chicken with Hot sauce
2 Meatballs and 2 pieces of Sauasge
1/4 cup of Mixed nuts

Thats so far today....

anything else I should throw in there?

Well did 40mins on elliptical tonight. I took a 3 min break after 20mins. My legs were tired. Going to try out that plan 5M17H. So basically I take a scoop of whey and make a shake and use that as the milk?

Either way doesn’t sound bad. After Turkey day I'm going to hit up the store and do some shopping for the weeks to come. Just to dam busy with work atm. Dam split shifts at work. Still thanks for the help people.

I love exercise and trying to eat right I just want to get to my weight so I can buy some kick ass clothes. :p
