Ok, I know this is a dumb thing to do, but hey, I did it anyway... So you see, I've been so busy lately so I've been absent in the gym for a few weeks... but anyway, I stay strict with my diet plan and only did push-ups everyday at the comfort of my house.
Although I did not gain muscle doing that, I managed to preseve muscle and actually lose fat... :D

Now the bad news... 3 days ago, I don't know why, but I binge the whole day, I eat almost at every bakery I can find, and unfortunately for me, I did it 3 days in a row... My normal daily intake would be around 1,500 kcal - 1,800 kcal, but I think these last 3 days, I think I've doubled or even trippled that amount... I stuffed myself even when I'm full... :p

The question is, my lower abs seems to become soft this morning until now, it seems kindda jiggling and bloated too! So, could this be fat gain? Or is it just water weight or gas? Let's say I stict back with my diet for this week, will it be gone again?

Those kind of binges will not make you gain noticible fat all at once.

You are young and your metabolism is probably at its highest and you try to watch what you eat most of the time, so a small portion of those calories will be converted to fat. But if you keep binging then it all starts to add up and slowly creeps up on you. I know this because I use to do it too a few years ago when I was about your age. Now its starting to catch up with me so I have to be careful.

Some say it is water, well I believe so myself... But anyway, why is there some kinda flab on my lower abs? Is it also water being hold there? And last question, should this water weight be gone in a few days? Let's say a week or so? :tu: Thanks anyway for reading my thread...

I don't know men... that's exactly what I'm trying to find out... This whole week makes me feel really, really bad because out of seven days, only 2 days I eat smart and healthy, the other 5 days where all days of crazy binging.

I think that the cause of my binge is stress... Well anyway, please wish me luck so starting tommorow I'll regain my healthy eating habit...

Don, hang in there! Remember that the most important day of your week is... the next day! Take care of the stress, but put the binge behind you and keep going; good luck!

Ahhh, yes! The stress factor!

That used to make me wake up in the middle of the night and eat!

Half asleep no less! I once plugged in the Foreman in the middle of the night and didn't know I had done so until I smelled the unit getting really hot, and that woke me up!!! Crazy!

I'd suggest printing out some signs/slogans/etc., and tape them up around the house. When doing shows/pics/etc., I put them on the fridge, cabinets, down the hallway, etc. It reminds me to keep my eyes on the prize.

I use things like "go back to bed fat ass" and "you've got control, exercise that control" , etc...........it works! :)

Yup... now I'm really sure that the main cause of these crazy binging is stress. I try hard to cope with stress and regain my healthy eating habit starting this morning, and hey! it actually works... Today I have no more desire to binge, even though I still have some problems going on.

But just an advice here... the other thing to help against stress and binging is exercise, and I prefer weight-training, it makes you happy afterwards and make the feeling to binge to be gone.

Anyway, just wanna ask, how do you guys deal with foods that doesn't have a nutrition label? I mean, I have a habit that if I wanna start bulking or cutting, I keep a diet log and count the calories that enter my body. But there are so many foods out there that doesn't have any nutritional label whatsoever, how do you deal with them?

Thanks by the way... hope I can continue being a good boy and let Christmast past by staying lean... I remember someone said, "Stuffed the turkey, not your face and guts"... :D
