Nicely done! Most all of your vessels have excellent symmetry, and form! I have never glassblown, but I cant imagine it to be easy. Making simular containers out of clay take lots of practice, and you can touch the clay with your hands whenever you want! Do you do this as a job or for a hobby? Obviouslly you've been doing it for a while! (I'm an art instructor, if that makes my comments any more credible! :P) Anyway, thanks for sharing!!

definitely just a hobby. I actually did ceramics for about 5 years so I know exactly what you are talking about, escher (its partially what got me into college ;))

but i like glassblowing so much more because it's much more pressured for time, as you can only manipulate the piece when it is scorching hot, and if it gets too cold it will explode/crack, its completely different than ceramics

thanks for the compliments. Im pretty good at the symmetry part, but its the easier minor details, like making the lip flat and not wobbly that i have yet to master! :D

very cool pieces. do you make these at home, or a studio that has all the equipment?

ya, you need a pretty extensive studio to do glassblowing like this. Smaller stuff you can do at home with a torch, but for the bigger stuff, for offhand glassblowing, you need a furnace and gloryhole
