Yeh so I have another knee surgery for next wed, day b4 thanksgiving and I been tryin to squeeze my 3 day split per week, so I can take that whole week off afte the surgery..it wont be as bad, its just a scope to remove scar tissue. Like this week i did mon-chest, wed- back, bis, thurs- sholuders, and then i will do sat-chest, mon-back, bis...and I dont kon if i want to lift the day b4 surgery, I always lift every other day, but is it ok if i'm squeezing it in for this week and also if i dont hit shoulders will i be ok for that week

There is a saying, and I am not sure where I found it, "You can't makeup for a missed workout." I believe the same is true about trying to do it before hand. All this means is that you won't work out those days. If you have been working out regularly, there won't be a problem with missing a week, except maybe for workout withdrawals.
I believe if you feel that you need to do the extra workout, do it, but ask yourself, why? I think most people would agree that missing a week, especially for what you are having done, will not hurt you. Just don't over do it trying to get ahead in workouts to cover for that week.

You'll probably be fine since you aren't doing leg workouts. I personally wouldn't do a leg workout right before surgery. But, a shoulder one? Sure.
