Does anyone think there is an issue doing cardio after a leg day with weights? My legs always feel weaker when I do it, and I'm concerned that I may also be impeding my leg gains. Yesterday was my best day ever for legs, and today would typically be a cardio day. Just wondering>

I personally would not. I do make it a point to do cardio the next morning after leg day to keep the blood flowing in the legs.

Low intensity cardio the day after working legs never seemed to impede my progress. Just helped 'em to recover quicker.

I do moderate intensity cardio and I've never let leg day slow me down. If anything, the cardio helps to relieve the soreness.

I've never had/seen an issue with doing cardio the day after legs. Hell, sometimes I do legs in the morning and cardio or a martial arts class in the evening.

Thanks gang!

Cardio does help some leg issues. I twisted my knee a couple of months ago. It can start to bother me when I sit for extended periods. Walking or cardio workouts help this out immensly.

I do cardio 4-6 times a week and a 4-day weight split--this overlaps where I have a day off from every thing. I make sure my legs day is the day before my day off. That way I feel like my legs have more time to recover. Plus, they are usually to sore to do cardio anyway.
