I had to take a few days off last week since a bad case of bronchitis took me out. Had to get on a cycle of levaquin antibiotics. What I didn't realize is how cracked out this stuff makes you and you lose a ton of water. I tried to get back to working out today, and I could just feel the my body trembling and all it could think of was "GET ME WATER AND DEXTROSE!!!"... So I ended up drinking my PWO shake mid workout and that helped keep me from passing out... Long story short... I think I went back too quickly to heavy training.. I think I should wait till my antibiotics are done and I'm fully rested to go back to the Max-OT program I've been on.

Just a story for everyone else. Take care of your body and don't overkill! I did and I nearly puked/passed out on the gym floor in front of "the beautiful people".

Now after being home and drinking another PWO + eating a couple of grilled burgers and salad I feel 100% better... Time for more rest and plenty of fluids.

Had the same thing happen to me like 5 years ago. I caught the flu got better and decided to jump right back into the swing of things. Boy I was wrong....I felt so weak and I shook a lot...I had to start back out slowly. Glad you are better now :tu:

Yup, am feeling much better but may have to wait till the Levaquin cycle is over. It dehydrates me something awful and I'm having to eat alot of food to keep my energy up, even then I'm too weak to push weights. May try some light eliptical tonight just to keep the fire stoked.

Glad i'm not the only one that's NOT Bulletproof
